Freedom

"Freedom" is a joint exhibition of the Department of Film Art Organization of the Film School in Łódź and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Lodz University of Technology. Freedom is liberation, liberation from what limits us, locks us in, keeps us where we are not comfortable. We fight for freedom, we want to be free from everything that does not allow us to breathe. Sometimes we impose bonds on ourselves, we struggle with fear and whispers of the evil one. And freedom means purification, joy, peace of heart, independence. Photography can touch personal, spatial and social freedom, and the sublime freedom of nations. It exposes our enslavements, revealing everything that the world imposes and everything that we run away from.
