About the event
“The Gardener” depicts the worldwide phenomenon of urban cultivation in major metropolitan areas.
It is a comparative photographic study of such practices in less affluent neighborhoods:
New York, Nairobi, Warsaw and Yerevan. Residents of these places creatively use recycled materials to build structures to support their urban gardens.
