Transition (From Anabiosis to Private/Public Body)

The exhibition will present 30 photographs from several series, created in recent years: “Anabiosis”, “Privat Public Body”, “Hybrids”, dealing with the problem of choreography, abstract art and its photographic relation to the latest sociological changes. It sits between women's art, gender art, and the sociological study of the human structure as the sensitive tissue of human existence, currently undergoing rapid transformation. 

The artist practices “staged photography” with a significant influence of the latest concept of choreography, drawing on various techniques and concepts of contemporary dance and improvisation techniques, which creates a formula between performance and the old tradition of abstraction, treating the body in an unconventional way, between the secret, transient (Anabiosis) and the public, exposed to be watched but also admired (“Privat Public Body”).  Other issues accentuated in the exhibition include video works. “Loosing Sharpness” treats the loss of a sense of reality through the prism of visual acuity,…
