About the event
Inspired by the work of Sophie Call, I would like to highlight the importance of personal perspective through the involvement of project participants and combine photography with written text. I am interested in the role of decision-making in creative work, which resulted in the permofrmative nature of the project. Searching for the definition of beauty in various aspects of reality; as a feeling of joy that brings a smile to your face during meetings with loved ones, as an elusive impression that art so often serves as its goal, as something simple and at the same time sublime and incomprehensible. Therefore, it is easy to come to the conclusion that beauty is one of the most difficult ideas to define. Beauty which is probably the most dependent on perspective, and one could even say that SHE is what creates Beauty; This perspective is the subject of my project. I want to explore the meaning of this concept for others by asking them the question "What is beauty for you?". Using an Instax instant camera, I take photos of the people I ask to capture a spontaneous reaction to the above question. I try to capture the beauty that affects my own sensitivity, as if responding with photography. to my own question. Then I ask the project participants to indicate other people whose beauty is important to them. I would like to present this project in Niebostan, seeing it as a place for social integration and building relationships. During the opening of the project, I would like to encourage the recipients to continue it They will have the opportunity to take photos themselves with an Instax camera and present their concept of beauty on the example of people participating in the event in Niebostan. The goal is to create an extensive map that will highlight and define the importance of the beauty and goodness that surrounds us every day and encourage reflection and perhaps expression. gratitude for these experiences.
