Colores Absentes

“Colores Absentes” is a uniquely personal project in which Tomek Albin makes himself a research object. It was inspired by the “Insomnia” series of night photographs from large urban areas, which not only documented architecture, but also reflected on human presence and the changing landscape. The project does not aim to faithfully reproduce urban landscapes, but to carry out a research process - to transfer the fascinating elements of night photography, such as light, texture and composition, to studio conditions.
