Dark Thoughts

“Dark Thoughts” is Jakub Nowaczyk's personal journey through emotions, memories and family secrets. The project was created as a result of the discovery of the diary of his father, Leszek Nowaczyk, who died of liver failure caused by alcohol abuse. The exhibition aims to confront the image of his father, which the artist did not fully recognize during his lifetime. After his death, Jakub gradually forgot about his presence, but never managed to completely get rid of the feeling of emptiness.
