Delicacy has cornered me. In a world where you have to be adamant and uncompromising, my soft side, which I don't like to show, comes out more and more often. There is no place for it in the brutal reality, so I escape into the depths of my imagination. Daydreaming becomes my way of coping with everyday life, I blur the boundaries between sleep and wakefulness. I can't cope with my inner delicacy, I don't want to be perceived as a weak individual. After a long time, I come to the conclusion that sensitivity is my power, which I try to suppress so as not to stand out from the world around me. Is gentleness a weakness, a curse, or an asset? Why are we afraid of gentleness? I would like to try to answer the questions I have posed by presenting the exhibition "La finesse", which consists of paintings, spatial objects and a film that I have been working on for half a year. The aim of the exhibition is to encourage the audience to reflect on whether it is worth drowning out who we are. Are we really there just because of the fear of rejection? I would also like to invite the audience to joint reflections during the curator's tour.
