title: DOOM
miejsce: Galeria Mała Czarna
A video recording of a fragment of the Slöugh band rehearsal. The similarity of the place of registration and presentation is not accidental. The dark, claustrophobic place of the Mała Czarna gallery reflects and intensifies the atmosphere of the music, prophesying the titular doom. Currently, all forms of escape, including extreme forms of artistic activity, may often be the only chance to maintain relative stability in life, a way to catalyze negative emotions. The context of an underground creative act collides with the circumstances of the presentation that takes place in the building of an art school. This provokes reflection on the type of closed worlds, their specificity, differences and similarities. “Doom metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music that usually exploits slower tempos, low-tuned guitars and a much "thicker" or "heavier" sound than other genres heavy metal. Both the music and lyrics are intended to evoke a sense of despair, fear and impending doom."
